The climate of Dubai, the famous city in the United Arab Emirates, is a sub-tropical desert climate classified under the Köppen climate classification as Bwh. Characterized by short, warm, and pleasant winters and scorching, long, and humid summers, it is humorously said that Dubai has two seasons: hot and hotter.

Between December and March, the lowest temperatures range between 59°F (15°C) and 66.2°F (19°C), and the highest temperatures fall between 75.2°F (24°C) and 84.2°F (29°C) - warm and pleasant for a desert climate.
Rainfall in winter is typical: the rain gauge meter reads an average of 1.6" (40.6mm), but the weather does not become any colder as rain falls in of short and light showers that most tourists ignore.
